Sunday In Pictures Vol. 34

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Ours was spent at Tucker and Allison’s wedding, Alex’s brother and new sister-in-law. It was a fun weekend but late nights so we were ready to be home yesterday.

In typical Monday fashion, we’re taking a peek into my Sunday through some pictures. Have a great day 🙂

Bacon, Egg and Cheese Bagel Sandwich

Instead of eating at the Airbnb we stayed at, we opted to head home early and grab breakfast sandwiches from our favorite place near home. A bacon, egg and cheese was a welcome sight!

Picked up Bailey who we missed the past two days.

The song of choice while heading to the grocery store.

Someone did want to be far from us for a while…

A tortilla pizza and some veggies for lunch.

Free flowers are the best flowers.

Some tea and magazine reading while it rained outside.

Pizza for dinner because pizza is always a good idea.

To finish our lazy Sunday, we watched a little over half of American Made.

Question of the day: What’s one highlight from your weekend?

    1. Aw fun!
Aren’t the pretty! I believe it was one of the bridesmaids bouquets or they were leftover. I honestly don’t know. Alex’s mom did the flowers for the wedding and gave me a vase.

  1. Hi there. I know you got Bailey as a puppy. We just got a new 8 week old one. Would you share some of your training tricks? Did the puppy cry a lot at night or when left alone? Did she grow out of it? Any info would be helpful…..

      1. For sure! It’s taken me a long time to to get to that point. Now I like that I wear my clothes a lot and when I’m tired of them I get something new. I’ve always worn classics though

  2. Bailey is sooo stinking cute. And that tortilla pizza is making me wanna make those tonight for dinner! I usually use flatout flatbreads (have you tried them?!). They have a few different flavors too which is fun.

    1. I mean I’m biased but I agree that she is super cute 🙂
Try the little pizza out. So easy! A little olive oil, cheese, fresh basil and some red pepper flakes. Pop it in a 350 degree oven until the cheese melts. Well technically they should be cooked on the grill but we don’t have one so the oven it is. No! I’ve never heard of them but I’m going to have to check the grocery stores near me. If you have a favorite flavor, I’d love to hear it!

  3. I should try the pizza situation…I wonder how it would be with weird-person-vegan cheese…vegan cheese just tastes like plastic and melts like cardboard (it doesn’t melt!) I hope that you and Alex enjoyed the wedding. I LOVE weddings 🙂 Secretly, I also fancy listening to John Mayer. The “Gravity” album is my favorite. Have a fantastic week Maureen!

    1. Hm, I’m not sure how it would be! I’ve never had vegan cheese but if you can eat dairy I highly recommend the pizza. If vegan cheese melts and tastes good then go for it. The wedding was nice. I’ll give that album a listen during work tomorrow!
