Sunday In Pictures Vol. 36

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Honestly I feel like this one absolutely flew by. It was crazy because it feels like I just left work and now I’m back at my desk. Not much you can do about it though. In typical Monday fashion, I’m sharing my Sunday in pictures. Have a great day 🙂

Waffles and Bacon

Waffles and bacon was the perfect way to ease into the day.

Carpet Cleaner

Since we’re really cool people in our early 20s, we rented a carpet cleaner from Home Depot to clean our carpets since I spilled iced tea early last week and there was a giant stain…

Leftover deli sandwich and carrots for lunch.

Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins

While I folded laundry, a batch of oatmeal muffins baked away.

Bailey and I went for a walk and she got all of the sniffs in.

I snacked on a handful of blueberries.

Since the sun was out, I read more of The Flight Attendant by Chris Bohjalian outside on the deck.

Alex’s friend was in town so I made some pizza for dinner while he was over.

Question of the day: What’s one highlight from your weekend?

  1. looks like a productive and tasty Sunday. the orchard we go to just opened their blueberry fields, guess the boys and I need to go picking soon. got to love fresh from the field fruits!

    1. The containers I got are from New Jersey somewhere but I am jealous you have a place near you that lets you pick your own. Fruit is always so much better straight from the fields!

  2. Maureen,

I’ll have to get back to you on a ‘highlight’ of my weekend. It seemed to go by in a blur! Outside of a really great run, I can’t think of a one!

    Peace and great runs

  3. Why do those waffles look so good?! Looks like a great Sunday. I spent the day watching the Colombia v. Poland World Cup game at the public viewing area and it was amazing!

    1. I have no idea since they’re just the Aunt Jemima’s brand mix. So good though! That’s so cool!! The World Cup must be a much different experience in Germany than the US, especially since the US isn’t playing this year.

  4. Oh no about the carpet! I didn’t realize you could rent a carpet cleaner from Home Depot- that’s good to know for the future since we have new carpet!

    1. Yes you can! It’s $22 for 4 hours or $31 for 24 hours and if you opt for 24 but return it within 4 hours then you only get charged for 4. It’s what we did and it worked well!

  5. The Flight Attendant sounds right up my alley- love a good thriller!! I didn’t realize you could rent a carpet cleaner from HD?! I was just telling DJ we need to clean our carpets, so that’s really good to know. I’ve been loving blueberries this week too. Soo yummy.
